Well, not in Alabama. It "snows" every couple of years or so. And by "snows" I really mean "well, the temperature is somewhere around 28 degrees Fahrenheit or so, and there's not enough snow to stick to the ground, so really all that's happening is it's overcast and there's this thick, sludge-like rain." The last time we truly saw snow, not only enough to stick to the ground but several inches of it, was the blizzard of 1993.
The news is freaking out over the weather. People are buying up everything from WalMart and other groceries stores, almost as if the news had announced the end of the world was coming. And then Sunday, the day the snow was supposed to start, occurred.
Though my brother did have a bit of time getting down my driveway, what with the ice and all.
